Could you please introduce yourself and describe your business?

My name is Pierre Montagne, President of Terneo, an energy consulting firm that serves local governments and businesses. We work with them tohelp themreduce their energy consumption and support them with their solar power projects. 

Since when, and for what purposes, have you been conducting carbon assessments?

We offer carbon assessments to clients whom we are already assisting with energy-related issues.

They are constantly faced with energy efficiency issues in their buildings. We offer them carbon assessments to help them takea more comprehensive approach to the energy transition. 

Why has carbon footprint assessment become essential for local governments?

This is essential to help them organize all the actions we propose tocombat climate change; it serves as a starting point that enables them to implement their energy transition in their region.
